Street Skills 101 class dates:
May “National Bike Month” courses:
- Sat, May 2 – 8am-5pm, WMEAC, 1007 Lake Dr (at Diamond Ave) class cancelled; choose another class
- Sat, May 16 – 8am-5pm, WMEAC, 1007 Lake Dr (at Diamond Ave)
- Tuesdays, May 19, 26, and June 2 – 6pm-9pm, GRFD Training Center, 1101 Monroe Ave NW
- Fri, July 17 – 6pm-10pm, Sat, July 18 – 8:30am-1:30pm, Plainfield Village Bike Shop
The Friday-Saturday courses are designed for those who cannot commit to a full Saturday class. You must attend ALL scheduled sessions for multi-day courses.
All Street Skills 101 classes are $30 and include your instruction manual, testing materials, and your certificate when you pass the class. Check back for more dates and locations.

League Cycling Instructor (LCI) Certification Seminar:
On June 12-14th, you can become certified to teach the Smart Cycling curriculum right here in Grand Rapids, MI!
For your tuition of $200 you receive:
- 20 hours of instruction from John Rider, an experienced cycling instructor based in Madison, WI
- Enjoy the Ride instructional DVD
- All course materials including instructor manuals for the entire Smart Cycling curriculum

You must take one of the Street Skills 101 courses (see info above) as a pre-requisite to the LCI Certification Seminar.
