This week we replay the 6/11 route that got rained out:
This week’s PedalGR ride clocks in at approximately 17.2 miles. With some extra daylight from the [just passed] summer solstice, we should have no problem. We’ll head north, then take a different turn than past years and head west across the river. A few hills on the NW side and then it’s all downhill to the river with a slight incline back to the beer. Hope to see you there.
Also, as part of the New Belgium Clips Beer and Film Tour, coming to GR on Friday, June 27, the Greater Grand Rapids Bicycle Coalition is raffling off two bicycles, a New Belgium Cruiser Bike and a 616 Fabrications Fat Bike. I’ll have photos of both, along with raffle tickets. You can support bicycle advocacy in GR AND have a chance to win an awesome bicycle. Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20.
Need to Know:
- This is a no-drop ride. We will do our very best to keep the group together and make sure no-one gets separated or left behind.
- Ride is ~17 miles and will have a few stops along the way. It should take about 2-2 1/2 hours (PedalGR is not a race).
- HELMETS ARE REQUIRED on Rapid Wheelmen Club rides. (The insurance company’s lawyers insist) Please email or comment if you need to borrow one and we will try to accommodate you.
