2013 PedalGR kicks off + Dinner and Bikes Tour comes to GR on 5/4!

Where The Sidewalk Ends
Where The Sidewalk Ends

Thanks to those hardy souls who joined us on the first PedalGR ride of 2013 on 4/24.  Amy and I are looking forward to another fun season of rides!  So much more of this city to explore.  We checked out the flooding in Riverside Park, and also from the Oxford St Bridge on the SW side.

Hope to see you out for a ride soon!

In other news, PedalGR is proud to be hosting the Grand Rapids stop of the Dinner and Bikes Tour!  Buy your tickets for $10 here: http://dinnerandbikesgr.brownpapertickets.com/

What is that??

“A Dinner and Bikes evening includes a gourmet, vegan and gluten-free buffet dinner prepared by Joshua Ploeg, a presentation about transportation equity and the everyday bicycling movement by Elly Blue, and a near-complete excerpt from Aftermass, Joe Biel’s forthcoming documentary about the history of bicycling in Portland. The event is followed by a book signing with all three presenters, and some time to peruse our traveling bicycle and cooking themed bookshop.”
