FINALLY, another PedalGR ride. Just before the snow falls (maybe).
Join PedalGR at Founder’s Brewing Company, 235 Grandville Ave SW, on Sunday 11/21 for an evening of great big band music followed by a ride under November’s full moon.
The talented Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra plays from 5:30 to 7:30. No cover, what a steal! Immediately following their set, we’ll head out into the darkness towards Millennium Park. Bring your lights for the ride to and from the park. Once in Millennium Park we’ll ride by the light of the moon, an awesome experience. With the full moon, it’s not as scary as it sounds. Bundle up, there’s a chill in the air!
Other Upcoming Events:
November 28th– KissCross World Championships of Cyclocross:
You don’t want to miss the season finale of our West Michigan Cyclocross series. The last two years have turned out to be full of mud and snow, with pain and smiles all around! The course is guaranteed to be top-notch, taking place inside and around Holland Municipal Stadium. This year, there’ll even be a food cart for all your hot dog and hot cocoa needs! It’s all topped off by a big post-party at New Holland Brewing and there’s usually a big sale at Velo City Cycles (one of the sponsors) across the road. Great for spectators and racers, this is worth the drive!!

December 16th– Priority Health Cycling Team Mel Trotter Benefit:
Not every party encourages you to bring a garbage bag full of socks and underwear. This annual party brings together all kinds of bicyclists in Grand Rapids to McFadden’s on Ionia Ave, all in the name of donating socks, underwear, or money to Mel Trotter Ministries. You never know who you’re going to see here, and often members of the Bissell Pro Team show their faces. Roadies, mtn bikers, and that guy who just rides to work for exercise are all likely to attend. There’s a cash bar and if you’re lucky you might snag some hors d’oeuvres.
